This position reports to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing all functional areas of the shift. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a lead/supervisor role. Candidates with previous coating/finishing experience is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all areas of safe and proper manufacturing procedures to ensure the company's production of quality products. The candidate will provide leadership in troubleshooting issues, ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of their shift, and coordinate a team of production employees to ensure that consistent and quality goods are constantly being produced. Responsible for planning and communicating daily job expectations including quality or safety concerns to shift production associates and shift supervisor. Utilize critical thinking by prioritizing 'hot jobs' to ensure high productivity. Evaluate each area of the plant in order to ensure maximum efficiency. Monitor, assess and record productivity results. Observe equipment, record issues, and troubleshoot improvements to exceed production targets. Establish quality service by enforcing organizational standards. Ensure all resources and assets are being used correctly and efficiently. Must problem-solve through analyzing data, investigation issues, identifying solutions and recommending action. Maintain open communication between both employees and management. Coach and counsel employees while enforcing policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production leadership.

Preferred Skills:

Leadership, problem-solving, strong communication and training experience.

Range of Pay:
