Job Description

The Production Manager is responsible for the production operation of the company. This includes effective use of resources and timely completion of quality products and service that meets customer requirements and company standards. Assign jobs to team members, ensure proper routing, drawings and required information is provided. Supervise, train and coach employees of all levels of experience for success. Ensure a safe work environment, effective use of resources and timely completion of quality products and services.
Responsibilities:
Maintain effective shop floor control: Assign work, ensure proper routings, drawings, material and production time tracking.
Customer Service:
Acting as the key contact with the customers auditors and taking responsibility for ensuring the execution of corrective actions and ongoing compliance with customers specifications.
Time and attendance reporting:
Document absences and tardiness. Approve and forward PTO requests.
Safety:
Set the example for safety compliance. Enforce all company safety policies. Document violations and implement discipline as required.
Training:
Provide initial employee orientation and job training.
Discipline:
Initial discipline per company procedure. Document all incidents requiring disciplinary action and follow up with corrective action.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure completion of first article inspections when required. Inspect machine set-ups as required. Preform periodic quality audits.
Maintenance:
Follow up on all issues to reduce downtime on quality issues. Ensure complete maintenance and housekeeping duties as required for safety and company policy.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$77,500.00 - $82,000.00 per year
