Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead and oversee daily production activities within our manufacturing facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes. As a supervisor, you will coordinate teams, manage resources, and implement process improvements to meet production goals. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives, uphold safety standards, and foster a culture of excellence across the manufacturing floor. Responsibilities Supervise and manage production teams on the assembly line, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization. Enforce safety protocols and standards in accordance with industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Utilize measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to verify product specifications and quality control. Operate and oversee the use of power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and other equipment necessary for assembly and material handling. Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting while adhering to safety procedures to prevent injuries. Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and manufacturing processes. Manage inventory movement within the warehouse, including loading/unloading using forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Lead continuous training efforts for team members on safety standards, mechanical assembly techniques, and operational procedures. Skills Proven experience in manufacturing facility operations with a strong understanding of factory workflows. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings. Extensive factory experience with familiarity in assembly line processes and managing production or assembly teams. Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments along with adherence to safety protocol guidelines. Expertise in process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing to boost efficiency. Ability to operate forklifts safely along with manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks. Technical proficiency in reading manufacturing documentation, technical drawings, and using measuring instruments accurately. Warehouse experience including managing inventory movement and understanding logistics operations. Effective leadership skills with experience managing teams in fast-paced manufacturing settings. Pay:
$65,333.37 - $78,681.05 per year
