A Manufacturing Production Supervisor supervises workers and production schedules, monitors supplies, and oversees quality assurance at a manufacturing facility or plant.
Competitive (DOE) We are currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor for a manufacturing environment in Asheboro, NC. The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands-on leader with previous experience supervising employees in manufacturing, production, construction, fabrication, warehouse, or a similar industrial environment. This position requires someone who can effectively lead a team, coordinate daily workflow, maintain productivity, enforce safety and quality expectations, and work closely with employees and management to meet production goals. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production operations and workflow. Assign daily job responsibilities and ensure work is completed efficiently. Lead, train, coach, and support production employees. Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and quality. Ensure employees follow company policies and safety procedures. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment. Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment according to production needs. Assist with onboarding and training new employees. Identify and resolve production or workflow issues. Communicate effectively with employees and management regarding production needs and concerns. Help ensure production schedules, quality standards, and project deadlines are met. Qualifications Previous supervisory, lead, or management experience required. Previous experience leading teams in a manufacturing, production, construction, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial environment strongly preferred. Strong leadership and employee-management skills. Experience with scheduling, workflow coordination, training, and productivity management. Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality expectations. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on industrial environment. Ability to effectively resolve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and organizational skills. Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to lead by example. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred due to the workforce. #LIND26
