Reliance Timber is seeking a highly motivated Production Assistant Manager to join our team. This individual will assist the Production Boss' needs in the daily operations of the lumber yard, ensuring efficiency and organization while supporting the millwork and shipping processes. Key Responsibilities:

Daily assignments for the yard crews, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to standard. Organize the lumber yard to ensure that materials are readily available and stored in an efficient and safe manner. Train and guide the lumber yard teams on proper procedures, safety protocols, and techniques for material handling. Pull materials for production orders, ensuring correct quantities and specifications. Provide support for shipping orders , ensuring materials are ready for dispatch. Responsible for loading and unloading trucks , ensuring proper handling of materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Previous experience in a lumber yard or similar setting is preferred but not required. Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment (forklifts) is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team. Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
