Accentuate Staffing is assisting a well-established cabinetry manufacturer in the Eastern NC area that is seeking a Production Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire opportunity with a strong benefits package and long-term growth potential. This position would train on 1st shift before ramping up the 2nd shift working 3:30pm-midnight Monday-Friday.Responsibilities:
Oversee daily 2nd shift production operations in a woodworking manufacturing environment to ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are met Assist with launching and building out the 2nd shift operation, including helping recruit and hire production staff Supervise production employees and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback Monitor production schedules, staffing levels, and workflow to support production demands Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, material shortages, and operational issues Monitor product quality and address defects, rework, and non-conformance issues Enforce safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized production environment Partner with operations leadership on staffing, training, and production planning Communicate production updates and operational issues to leadershipRequirements:
3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment Experience managing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting Experience in cabinetry, furniture, woodworking, millwork, building products, or similar manufacturing environments strongly preferred Strong experience with production scheduling, workflow management, and process improvement Experience with employee training, coaching, and performance management Ability to troubleshoot production issues and make operational decisions Willingness to train on 1st shift before transitioning to 2nd shift Flexibility to work additional hours, weekends, or holidays as needed Bilingual English/Spanish is a plusBenefits
