JOB SUMMARY
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operational activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity targets are met. This role supervises staff, coordinates workflows, and implements process improvements to support organizational goals. The Operations Supervisor ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive and accountable team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate daily operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to drive performance and engagement
  • Monitor production or operational metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Implement and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and timekeeping
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and address performance issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Quality, HR, Maintenance) to resolve operational challenges
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues, including equipment, staffing, or process disruptions
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on operational performance Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, or a related environment Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements Knowledge of operational processes, safety standards, and quality systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems (e.
g., SAP, IQMS, or similar) Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
§ Must attend leadership training as provided by Biomerics. § Training on inspection equipment § Blue Print reading. § Previous leadership is desirable but not a must. § ISO 9001-2008 and
ISO 13485-2003
