• Hands-On Shop Floor Leadership Responsibilities of the CNC Laser & Brake Press Supervisor Recruit, train, supervise, and direct sheet metal team members Review engineering drawings and specifications to plan sheet metal processes and select tools and equipment Coordinate with engineering to ensure laser and brake press processes align with project requirements and quality standards Manage and participate in sheet metal operations, including CNC laser and brake press programming, setup, and operation Maintain equipment, oversee tooling inventory, and purchase raw materials and tools Foster a safe, quality-focused, collaborative work culture Perform other tasks as required Qualifications of the CNC Laser & Brake Press Supervisor High school diploma or equivalent plus technical or vocational training in brake press and laser operation 5+ years of experience with strong knowledge of sheet metal techniques, cutting tools, bending and rolling equipment, and CNC programming At least 2 years of experience managing and training a team of brake press and laser operators Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Familiar with CNC programming languages (e.
