We are a small team that counts on everyone having high standards to take our company to the next level. Position Summary The 2nd Shift Production Supervisor is a hands-on working supervisor who will be responsible for all aspects of safety, quality, personnel, productivity, and day to day schedule performance during the shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision sheet metal fabrication with the ability to train operators and inspect parts. The successful candidate will initially work on 1st shift to become familiar with the Company's operations, equipment, manufacturing processes, and quality standards. During this period, the individual will be expected to demonstrate the technical capability, leadership, judgment, and decision-making necessary to independently supervise the 2nd shift before transitioning into the permanent 2nd shift role. Responsibilities Manage second-shift operations, including safety, personnel, production, quality, and workflow. Serve as the sole supervisor and management representative on site during second shift. Ensure employees follow safety requirements, quality standards, work instructions, and established procedures. Lead, train, coach, and provide performance feedback to second-shift employees. Work hands-on in production and operate equipment as needed to meet production requirements. Monitor production and quality; identify and address issues, including nonconforming material. Perform in-process and final inspections Troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues and escalate as needed. Communicate shift performance, staffing, production, quality, and equipment issues to management and first shift. Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and workflow. Experience Demonstrated experience leading and managing employees. Experience in precision sheet metal fabrication required, press brake operating experience preferred Experience in an ISO 9001 or AS9100 certified manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and fabrication requirements. Experience inspecting fabricated parts using appropriate measuring devices. Basic mechanical and machine troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment with limited management oversight. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Physical Demands Ability to lift/move 50 lbs Performing the duties of this job requires regularly standing and lifting Our facility is ITAR registered, employees must be US persons.
