Assembly Supervisor
Job Description
Assembly Supervisor Our manufacturing client needs an Assembly Supervisor for their diverse team! This direct-hire role will provide technical direction, planning, and direct supervision to production associates, ensuring productivity, collaboration, and a safe, positive working environment. Responsibilities of the Assembly Supervisor Lead, coach, train, organize workflow for, and evaluate performance of manufacturing team Help recruit, hire, and onboard employees Collaborate with production planning and logistics to prioritize production schedules, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of orders that meet customer expectations Implement and monitor quality control standards Optimize inventory management process Use ERP system and other technology to prepare reports for planning, performance monitoring, issue identification, and improvement Maintain documentation Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Promote and maintain a safe, clean work environment Perform additional tasks to support the goals of the department and organization Qualifications of the Assembly Supervisor Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required, 5 years preferred Experience attracting, retaining, motivating, and developing high-performing, diverse teams Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, welding/machining, and quality control Knowledge of health and safety regulations Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems Excellent communication and relationship building skills Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines We look forward to connecting with you about this Assembly Supervisor opportunity!
