Plant Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our facility producing plastic and paper food containers, cups, and packaging products . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing production, employee supervision, quality control, safety compliance, and continuous improvement. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring production goals are met, maintaining quality standards, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate production employees during assigned shifts. Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and daily output goals are achieved. Monitor manufacturing processes involving plastic and paper food packaging products. Train, coach, and evaluate production personnel. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations. Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance when needed. Reduce waste and improve production efficiency. Maintain production records, reports, and shift documentation. Conduct shift meetings and communicate production objectives. Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing production experience . Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics, paper products, packaging, food containers, cups, or related manufacturing industries preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Knowledge of production processes, quality control, safety standards, and manufacturing best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Salary:
Competitive salary based on qualifications, skills, and manufacturing supervisory experience. Salary will be discussed on the day of the interview. We have 2
Shifts:
Monday to Friday from 6am to 4pm and Monday to Thursday from 2pm to 12am. Must be Flexible.
