The schedule is from 6am-230pm. Sometimes starting as early as 530am-330pm and flexibility to work 1 or 2 Saturdays a month. #ML Key Responsibilities Oversee daily fabrication and paint-shop activities across first and second shifts. Plan production schedules based on customer demand, sales forecasts, and production capacity. Assign and balance workloads across the Machine Shop and Paint Shop. Lead, train, coach, and cross-train production employees. Monitor staffing needs, productivity, downtime, quality, and overall department performance. Ensure fabricated parts meet engineering drawings and specifications. Use measuring tools and technical drawings to verify accuracy when needed. Oversee laser/turret punch, press brake, saw, welding, rolling, and painting operations. Coordinate programming requirements for Amada turret and press brake equipment. Provide guidance on powder-coating, masking, and proper finishing techniques. Maintain accurate production, inventory, work-order, and material transactions in ERP and manufacturing systems. Manage raw-material inventory, tooling, supplies, cycle counts, and reporting accuracy. Coordinate preventive maintenance for production machinery, ovens, and paint equipment. Partner with Engineering on prototypes, tooling requirements, and new-product introductions. Develop operating procedures and equipment-training protocols. Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and company safety procedures. Communicate production delays, equipment concerns, quality issues, and scheduling changes to management and other departments. Recommend improvements to equipment, workflow, safety, quality, and production efficiency. Required Qualifications 5-7years of experience in a fabrication or metal-manufacturing environment. Previous experience managing or coordinating production employees and schedules. Strong working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings. Hands-on knowledge of fabrication machinery and production equipment. Experience with quality-control procedures and OSHA safety requirements. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and project-management skills. Experience working with ERP or manufacturing production systems. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to take ownership of department performance and work with minimal supervision.
Pay:
