Beyond TalentEdge has partnered with manufacturing company who focuses on Aerospace, Defense, Energy, Medical and Industrial Markets. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and support manufacturing operations in a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for supervising the workforce, coordinating daily production activities, maintaining safety and quality standards, and ensuring customer requirements are met on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys being on the shop floor, developing employees, improving processes, and driving production results. Key Responsibilities Lead, direct, and support production employees to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals. Spend the majority of the workday on the shop floor providing hands-on leadership and support. Assign daily work and adjust labor as needed to meet production requirements. Monitor production schedules, labor utilization, overtime, and department spending. Develop and follow daily production plans to support customer needs and on-time delivery. Monitor quality, productivity, scrap, rework, and other key production metrics. Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements. Identify and immediately address unsafe behaviors or workplace conditions. Investigate workplace accidents and complete required reports. Promote and maintain 6S/Lean Manufacturing practices throughout the department. Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance, attendance, quality, and productivity. Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations and progressive discipline when necessary. Support hiring, staffing, training, and employee development. Ensure employees receive appropriate training and that training records are maintained. Lead team meetings and communicate safety, productivity, quality, and company objectives. Work closely with scheduling and other departments to ensure production plans are executed effectively. Support and lead continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Develop a flexible workforce through cross-training and employee development. Maintain visual production boards and communicate team goals and performance. Qualifications Manufacturing production experience in an assembly or machine shop environment. Previous supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing. Strong leadership and employee management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word. Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Syteline experience is a plus. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S/6S, and continuous improvement. Understanding of OSHA and manufacturing safety requirements. Experience with production scheduling, labor planning, and productivity management. Ability to work effectively with employees, peers, management, and internal customers. Education 2
  • or 4-year degree in Business Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Salary & Schedule:
$65,000
  • 90,000
Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday , 6:00am-3:30pm, 7:00am
  • 4:00pm / 8:00am
  • 5:00pm.
