Job Description

Caldwell Bennett, Inc. (CBI Cables) is a family owned and operated manufacturing company located in Oriskany, NY, that has been in business for over 40 years. We provide quality audio, video, data, and power cable assemblies to the entertainment industry worldwide.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Production Area Supervisor will lead a team of production support personnel in the timely completion of tasks to support the assembly of a wide variety of cables and related products. The person will ensure a safe, professional working environment and maintain adherence to all policies and procedures related to the manufacturing side of the business.
Essential Responsibilities:
Oversee and support production operations — Manage and perform daily floor activities to meet targets efficiently and safely. Train and evaluate staff — Coach personnel, set performance standards, and conduct regular assessments. Support cross-department workflows — Align production processes with broader operational goals. Monitor quality — Track output quality and implement improvements to reduce defects. Enforce safety compliance — Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and promote a safe workplace. Analyze production data — Identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to boost productivity and reduce costs. Communications — update production status and challenges to operations management and other department leads. Inventory Control - Perform cycle counts, process transactions and maintain accuracy, at the direction of the Operations Manager. Warehouse - Oversee timely and accurate receiving, organization, and storage of raw materials.
Basic Qualifications:
Associates Degree, completion of an applicable certificate program, or an acceptable combination of education and experience 2-4 years of leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
Optional Qualifications:
BA/BS or related field and/or 5 to 10 years of related experience Electronic and/or manufacturing technical experience Safety background, including training of employees Warehouse management experience

Full-time Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
