Job Description

RDR is seeking a Gas Repair Utility Foreman to round with our Utility Line Repair and Maintenance Division. These utility projects are in Columbus, Akron, and surrounding areas.
Job Summary:
Gas Repair Utility Foreman will report directly to their RDR Division Manager.
Job Duties:
Supervise, instructs, operates and participates in the construction and repair of gas utility lines as well as all fittings and required appurtenances. Must have general knowledge of installation, testing, and restoration procedures. Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to natural gas construction. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Supervise, schedule, coordinate daily work with superintendent. Communicate effectively with Superintendent and customer and work through issues. Train and mentor crew members and ensure productivity is met or exceeded. Maintain accurate job records including daily reports, material usage, and project logs. Keep safety as a top priority with a focus on efficiency and production with job costs in mind.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in gas utility construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Valid driver's license; CDL highly preferred. OQ (Operator Qualification) certification required or ability to obtain. Willing to travel anywhere OH and WV.
