Production Supervisor - Small Packaging Ques Industries Inc - 3.2 Brook Park, OH Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $85,000 a year 5 hours ago Qualifications Manufacturing management Spreadsheets Manufacturing facility experience Production scheduling Packaging equipment Full Job Description Job Summary The Production Supervisor for Small Packaging is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the filling, labeling, and packaging of chemical products into small containers (pints, quarts, gallons, etc.). This role ensures that small packaging operations run efficiently, meet daily production targets, and support on-time order fulfillment. The ideal candidate has experience balancing labor, equipment, and material resources to meet strict quality and delivery standards. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed packaging schedules for small container production lines based on customer orders, inventory levels, and shipping priorities. Coordinate with blending, warehouse, and purchasing teams to ensure availability of bulk product and packaging materials. Monitor daily output from packaging lines and adjust schedules to accommodate rush orders, labor changes, or equipment downtime. Communicate production schedules and updates to line leads and supervisors across shifts. Ensure accurate ERP transactions for packaging work orders and inventory movements. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, shortages, or production delays in real time. Work with Quality Control to ensure packaged products meet specifications before release. Support continuous improvement efforts for packaging efficiency, material usage, and line changeover times. Provide weekly reports and updates to the Plant Manager on performance, schedule risks, and material needs. Required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field preferred. 24 years of experience in a production supervision, scheduling, or coordination role in manufacturing; chemical or consumer packaged goods experience is a plus. Familiarity with packaging processes and equipment for small container lines. Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, etc.) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent communication, planning, and problemsolving skills. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and timing. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to lastminute changes. Work Environment Combination of office and production floor environment. Exposure to chemical manufacturing processes, equipment, and odors; PPE required when in production areas. May require extended hours or oncall availability depending on plant needs.
