Rotating monthly overtime on Fridays Position Summary H-P Products, Inc. (Engineered Tube Bends Division), a premier manufacturer for industrial tube fabrications, is seeking a full-time Bend Supervisor on 2nd shift! The Bend Supervisor is responsible for leading the Bend Department, supporting safe and efficient production, maintaining quality and schedule performance, and providing technical and supervisory support to department employees. Key Responsibilities Responsible for all safety aspects of the Bend Department and the company. Lead, direct, coach, and support Bend Department employees on 2nd shift while setting clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and housekeeping. Oversee the setup and operation of tube bending equipment using assembly fixtures, work orders, blueprints, and established processes. Support bend operators with tooling setup, machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and defect identification. Review work orders, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure production requirements are understood and met. Ensure single and multiple bends are completed accurately and efficiently in accordance with quality expectations and on-time delivery requirements. Identify and troubleshoot bending defects including slipping, wrinkles, cracks, tool marks, and dimensional issues. Coordinate and prioritize department work based on due dates, material availability, staffing, machine capacity, and shop priorities. Monitor work-in-process and the bend buffer to maintain production flow and prevent bottlenecks. Coordinate with Production, Scheduling, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, and other departments to resolve production constraints. Complete all required reports, checklists, production records, and data entries accurately and consistently. Monitor key performance indicators including production output, schedule adherence, quality, scrap, productivity, safety, attendance, and WIP. Successfully investigate, analyze, and implement corrective actions related to customer or internal product and process concerns. Generate ideas and implement changes in current processes, equipment, tooling, and use of personnel to increase efficiency, improve safety and quality, reduce costs, and improve employee morale. Provide training, testing, career development, and employee evaluations as well as set expectations and hold employees accountable. Drive the company culture of safety and quality and promote continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to company health and safety policies, company policies and procedures, and good housekeeping practices. Maintain a positive work atmosphere and promote teamwork, accountability, and proactive problem-solving. Communicate shift priorities, production status, quality concerns, equipment issues, and outstanding work to management and other shifts. Make sound decisions independently when management and support personnel are not present. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications 5-10 years of demonstrated success in tube bending, metal fabrication, machining, or related manufacturing operations preferred. Demonstrated industrial management, supervisory, or team leadership experience. Knowledge of tube bending processes, tooling, blueprint reading, quality, and safety. Demonstrated ability to interpret instructions, direct, coach, and train employees. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, oversee progress, make decisions, and take corrective action. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical skills. Strong understanding of manufacturing workflow and production priorities. Excellent attendance and dependability. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to maintain clear thinking and professional composure in high-pressure situations to meet deadlines. Ability to work in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stand and walk throughout the manufacturing environment and lift up to 70 lbs. when necessary. Ability and willingness to work Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:00 AM, with rotating monthly overtime on Fridays.
