Manufacturing Supervisor

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily production and packaging operations to meet quality, safety, and delivery targets
• Lead, coach, and develop production team members to maximize performance and engagement
• Monitor productivity, efficiency, and labor utilization to reduce costs and improve output
• Ensure all products meet established quality and food safety standards
• Conduct routine floor walkthroughs to verify product quality, safety compliance, and operational effectiveness
• Enforce company policies related to safety, food quality, and regulatory compliance
• Identify and resolve production issues to minimize downtime and maintain workflow
• Complete required documentation accurately, including production reports and compliance records
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and overall performance
• Collaborate with management to align production with business needs

Required Experience:

• Prior experience in bakery or food manufacturing supervision required
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop teams
• Solid understanding of food production processes and safety standards
• Experience working in a union environment preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay:
