This role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of manufacturing operations producing components and assemblies for Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and related electric utility products, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. The ideal candidate combines a strong technical background, ideally with knowledge of metering, AMI systems, or related electrical equipment, and has proven experience managing people in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of production employees to meet output, quality, and delivery goals. Manage training and development needs to ensure the team maintains required technical certifications and safety standards. Conduct performance reviews, manage staffing levels, and handle employee relations or disciplinary actions. Build a culture of accountability, integrity, safety, and continuous improvement by fostering strong communication between production, quality and engineering. Provide hands-on technical guidance on production processes, equipment, and troubleshooting, including soldering and electrical components and assemblies. Identify and resolve production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process bottlenecks. Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing/workflow as needed to meet deadlines. Compliance and Safety Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with
