The warehouse supervisor will oversee the daily workload of the warehouse associates and will work closely with the warehouse manager to manage personnel including hiring/firing/disciplinary actions. Will learn to perform all daily warehouse tasks such as order fulfillment processing, vendor receiving processing, quality inspections, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties, using a computer terminal. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Reports to the Warehouse Manager.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all activities related to inbound and outbound shipments including but not limited to checking in, receiving, stocking, checking, and shippingShift personnel between receiving activities to ensure each part of the process is sufficiently staffedPoint person for questions/issues as they arriveComplete quality paperwork when non-conformances arise, work with the quality department on preventative resolutionsTrain new employees and cross-train existing employeesAssist in daily warehouse tasks when needed to maintain workloadOther duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or graduate equivalency diploma (GED)Experience in warehouse associate roleSupervisory experience is preferred but not requiredOnsite training is required to perform job duties that involve operating a fork truck and/or using tools, machinery, or equipment
