Job Description Lead and supervise production personnel on first shift within a designated manufacturing area. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and operational requirements. Coordinate staffing, resources, and production activities to achieve business objectives. Monitor production schedules and workflow to meet customer demand and delivery targets. Track key performance metrics and implement corrective actions when necessary. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve operational challenges. Support and drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure accurate production documentation and system transactions. Develop, coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to maximize performance and engagement. Facilitate effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution across teams. Lead productivity improvement projects and support capital investment initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, diversity, safety, and continuous learning. The Successful Applicant Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or business-related discipline preferred. Equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will also be considered. 3+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with increasing responsibility. Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment. Medical device, regulated manufacturing, or similar industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing processes. Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings, and operational procedures. Proven leadership, coaching, and employee development skills. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies preferred. Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Results-driven approach with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
