Production Supervisor - 1st Shift | York, PA A well-established food manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join its team on 1st shift. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily production, employee performance, safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop production employees and new hires. Oversee daily production schedules, staffing, line setup, changeovers, and production performance. Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, food safety, and regulatory requirements. Monitor product quality, case counts, paperwork, metal detection, and production specifications. Work closely with Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, Transportation, and management. Address employee performance and interpersonal issues while maintaining a positive work environment. Drive efforts to minimize downtime, waste, and production inefficiencies. Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

High school diploma, associate degree, technical training, military training, or equivalent experience. Manufacturing or food production supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and remain on your feet for extended periods.
