Job Description

Randstad Staffing is hiring for a Production Supervisor in Bloomingdale, IL. This position requires prior experience working and leading in a Press Brake department.
Qualifcations:
5+ years of press brake or metal fabrication experience preferred 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment preferred strong knowledge of CNC press brake operations, tooling, and setup procedures Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions Working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems OSHA safety training or certification Experience with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems

High SchoolResponsibilities Supervise daily press brake operations, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and delivery commitments are met. Coordinate workflow, staffing, and machine assignments to optimize throughput and efficiency. Monitor production metrics, including productivity, scrap, rework, and on-time performance. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and process inefficiencies. Lead, coach, and develop Brake Department operators and leads. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback. Facilitate training on equipment, safety procedures, and quality standards. Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment focused on accountability and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA standards. Enforce proper machine guarding, PPE usage, and safe operating procedures. Collaborate with Quality to address non-conformances and implement corrective actions. Maintain compliance with ISO or other applicable quality systems. Oversee setup and operation of CNC and manual press brakes. Ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications.
