Job Summary Overseeing day to day operations on the production floor. Manage production employees and ensure all manufacturing processes are completed to customer requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all operator activities in regards to current work schedules.
- Assist in ongoing Development, monitoring, and adjustments to production schedules to optimize capacity and meet customer deadlines
- Manage resource allocation, including headcount requirements, shift structures, equipment utilization, and inventory/materials
- Ensure that all customer requirements are met via applicable assembly documents.
- Partner with HR to monitor safety practices/PPE usage and correct any unsafe practices; as well as, handling employee relations, including recognition, training, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate the flow of inventory to ensure on-time delivery of conforming product.
- Collaborate with Quality team to ensure quality check activities are performed.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, BA or BS preferred
- Demonstrated success in team leading and team building required
- Experience with Six Sigma, certification a plus
- Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience preferred in Automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of automation and assembly equipment and manufacturing processes required
