Shift Supervisor, 2nd Shift - Frazier Industrial Company, Lamar Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with it's headquarters in Long Valley, NJ. The 2nd Shift Supervisor position is full time and based in Lamar, SC. We are looking for someone that likes a challenging environment and is dedicated to accomplishing goals. Shift hours are 4:30 p.m. till 3:00 a.m., Monday - Thursday. OT may be required. Pay is commensurate with experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Frazier Industrial Company Responsible for shift operations within Frazier Industrial Company supporting the 2nd shift line supervisors with day-to-day management of their manufacturing areas and production goals, overseeing a group of team members, and ensuring safe and efficient operation in achieving business targets. Key responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment through training, accountability, and use of PPE.
• Supervise daily activities and establish work schedules to achieve production targets.
• Assure that production team members are trained to effectively follow work instructions and meet acceptable quality standards.
• Develop team member abilities through coaching, performance appraisal, and setting goals.
• Communicate critical safety, quality, and business information in an effective manner.
• Ensure full adherence to daily housekeeping and 5S program
• Actively participate in problem solving and project teams developed to achieve continuous improvement.
• Analyze department production data to determine root causes of issues, and lead efforts to resolve those issues and improve performance.
• Prepare and distribute manufacturing report summaries as needed.
• Prepare, conduct, and counsel employees on periodic job performance standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications and requirements
• 5-7 years' supervisory experience in fabricating and welding manufacturing environment
• Solid understanding of drawings & blueprint reading
• Industry related experience
• Employee training skills and knowledge
• Strong working knowledge of safety regulations related to Frazier production
• Experience in reporting on key production metrics
• Microsoft Office experience and understanding of its main functions
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay:

$33.00 - $37.00 per hour
