A Non-Destructive Testing Specialist uses ultrasonic, electromagnetic, thermal or liquid penetration tests to check structures or materials for cracks, defects or signs of corrosion. May work on large structures such as bridges, dams or pipelines, or check vehicles such as aircraft. Interprets and reports on test results that include images and measurements; maintains and calibrates equipment.

Job Description

AWS (CWI) Certified Welding Inspector Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. The Quality Assurance position is full time and based at our Lamar, SC location. We are looking for (AWS) Certified welding Inspector for this position. This position requires constant floor inspection and documentation of all manufacturing processes including Cutting, punching, shearing stamping, notching, welding and paint. The welding process is a GMAW Spray Transfer process.
Applicants Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily floor inspections, documentation, weld inspections general overview of part fit-up, visual weld inspection, review of welding WPS's & PQR's, compliance of welding credentials and documents. Performing welder certification testing per the requirements of
AWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code, including some minor destructive testings Writing Welder Qualification Records, PQR's & WPS.s. Maintain daily inspection Records Monitor welder qualification records. Maintain company control processes, procedures and specifications. Understand the requirements of the
AWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code. Maintain company's established Quality Assurance Manual. Read and interpret fabrication drawings. Daily verification of welding equipment and documentation. Occasional travel by car or plane, with ability to adhere to Company travel requirements
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
: All applicants must be or have A. 5-Years welding experience B. High School diploma or equivalent AWS Certification CWI or CAWI welding Inspector certification Good penmanship Computer skills MS Office tools. Must be willing to travel as needed and have a personal credit card. Knowledge of inspection tools and Inspection equipment. Clean driving record & willing to sign a waiver to have driving record Salary negotiable
