Job Description

Overview Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the plant, overseeing staff, production schedules, inventory management, product quality, and customer service, while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, aiming to maintain a smooth workflow and deliver high-quality goods consistently.
Key responsibilities:
Staff Management:
Supervise staff including kitchen staff, production staff and packaging staff Assign tasks and manage employee according to the schedule to optimize production. Assist with the conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts. Supervise staff brakes and times. Collect all production reports and submit to QA. Ensure that employees are following GMP policy and be able to correct them if they don't. Supervise cleaning procedures.
Production Oversight:
Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Inspect goods for consistency and appearance. Identify and troubleshoot production issues.
Inventory Control:
Manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies and alert plant manager when inventory is low. Assist with inventory count at the end of the month. Monitor expiration dates and rotate stock properly.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Conduct regular quality checks on products. Implement corrective actions when necessary. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
Required Skills:
Baking knowledge: Understanding of baking techniques, recipes, and ingredients.
Leadership skills:
Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
Problem-solving skills:
Identifying and resolving production issues quickly.
Organizational skills:
Efficiently managing schedules, inventory, and tasks.
Communication skills:
Clear communication with staff and management.
Pay:
$25.00 per hour
