About the Role As a Production Machinery Lead, you will serve as a key technical supervisor, ensuring that production lines operate at peak efficiency and quality standards. You will play a vital role in optimizing output, mentoring team members, and maintaining the mechanical integrity of our manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities Oversee daily production line operations, ensuring machines are running at optimal speed and schedule. Conduct quality inspections on finished goods to minimize waste and identify potential defects. Lead efficient machine changeovers and setup processes to reduce downtime. Perform routine mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance to keep equipment in top condition. Enforce strict safety protocols, including PPE compliance and lockout/tagout procedures, to maintain a secure environment. Manage team performance, provide training for new hires, and facilitate professional development. Maintain accurate production documentation and reporting to support operational transparency. Ensure all processes adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and food safety standards. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 2+ years of hands-on machine operation and troubleshooting experience. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues. Proficiency in reading technical manuals, safety procedures, and operational documentation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team leadership and reporting. Strong visual acuity to detect print and color inconsistencies during production. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead capacity. Demonstrated ability to manage time and organize workflows effectively. Experience with formal performance management and employee training. Strong mathematical skills for production calculations and reporting.
