Job Description

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing, and directing all daily production activities for Markle operations and solving issues as they arise. This position is a working Supervisor who will be working side by side with their crew. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plans and directs plant operations. Focuses on driving Safety, quality, and productivity. Develops, implements, and enforces operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality and revenue. Provides leadership, management, and motivation to attain high levels of employee achievement and retention. Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures. Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency. 2 p.m.- 10 p.m. 3rd
Shift:
10 p.m.- 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. Mandatory overtime according to business needs. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The buildings are heated during the winter, but conditions could be cold in the winter & hot during the summer. The processing areas are dirty & wet at times. Processing facilities/ areas are dusty.
