Job Description Ascension Property Services, based in Palo Alto, CA, seeks a Sheet Metal Foreman to lead installation of metal infrastructure supporting our technology facilities. You will supervise a crew, plan and coordinate sheet metal fabrication and installation, read and interpret technical drawings, and ensure high-quality workmanship and safety compliance. The Foreman will collaborate closely with IT, facilities, and project managers to support data centers and critical environments, maintain accurate records, manage materials and vendors, and mentor technicians in a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Responsibilities Lead and supervise sheet metal technicians and installers Plan, schedule, and coordinate sheet metal fabrication and installation work Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company policies Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and durability Collaborate with IT, facilities, and project managers on infrastructure projects Manage materials, inventory, and vendor coordination Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members Maintain project documentation, work orders, and progress reports Support continuous improvement and innovation in installation methods Required Skills Sheet metal fabrication and installation Blueprint and technical drawing reading Construction site safety and OSHA standards Crew leadership and supervision Project planning and scheduling HVAC and ductwork systems Use of metalworking tools and equipment Quality control and inspection Materials management and inventory Basic computer and documentation skills
