Project Overview:

Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Job Summary:

In this role, you will lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project. You will direct craft professional activities and work schedules, and coordinate subcontract work activities and team development. Your oversight will ensure craft professionals have the tools required to be productive, comply with project policies, procedures, and job site work rules and procedures, and perform within specifications, schedules and budgets. #LI-TH1 #

Major Responsibilities:

Leadership / Supervision (Discipline Supervision up to 50 craft) + Supervises and/or directs craft activities as assigned. + Schedules work to be performed and reviews work accomplished by each craft.

• Planning / Productivity
• + Determines workforce requirements. + Coordinates established area operational plans.
• Tools, Materials & Equipment
• + Monitors tool and equipment usage on the site. + Oversees the preparation of Field Material Requisitions for tools and consumables and ensures that the crafts have the tools they require to be productive.
• Safety & Quality
• + Ensures the most current design document is used to complete the work and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation. + Ensures assigned construction operations and subcontractors' performance are in compliance with specifications and within schedules and budgets.
• Technical
• + Works with Construction Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals, in interpreting Engineering design documents, vendor documents, and other technical documents + Oversees engineering solutions with Subcontractors, and Foremen and Craft Professionals.

Education and Experience Requirements:

+ Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8 -10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience #

Required Knowledge and Skills:

+ Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation. + Knowledge of Bechtel's Zero Accident Philosophy. + Knowledge of the Project ES&H Handbook, the Supervisors ES&H Manual, the Project Safety Management Plan and the Bechtel Core Processes. + Knowledge of the Six Sigma program tools and methodologies. + Knowledge of supervisory functions relating to field activities. + Knowledge of Standard Work Process Procedures (SWPPs). + Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet and database applications in accordance with current Bechtel Standard Application Program (BSAP) standards. + Demonstrated leadership in a team-based environment. + Knowledge of the use of subcontracts, and the contractor and subcontractor's responsibilities contained in subcontract documents. + Experience working with, supervising and administering subcontractors and/or Direct Hire workforce. + Knowledge is normally acquired through: A recognized degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or Specialized courses in construction technology and management, and/or Prior practical work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledge described above

• Additional Information:

• Work requires the physical ability to conduct field inspections including but not limited to: extensive walking in and around a construction site often in high heat and high humidity conditions, climbing ladders, climbing scaffolding, working on elevated platforms, working on uneven surfaces, and working in small or confined spaces.

Some lifting may be required. Must have the ability to walk into and out of the project (enter/egress). Must be able to use appropriate standard issued Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required for each assigned task (i.e. harness, life vest, lift buckets, etc.). #
