Mill Production Supervisor

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Mill Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently met. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily rolling mill operations to meet production schedules, throughput targets, and quality requirements.
• Monitor mill performance, yields, downtime, and scrap, and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure proper setup, operation, and changeovers of rolling mill equipment
• Coordinate production priorities with planning, shipping, and downstream processes
• Enforce all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance to schedule repairs and preventive maintenance
• Identify equipment issues and assist in troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Ensure operators perform routine inspections and housekeeping

Qualifications:

High school diploma or

GED. 3-5

years of experience in rolling mill or heavy manufacturing operations. Prior supervisory or lead experience in a production environment. Strong leadership and communication skills. Must be fluent in the use of a PC—i.e. able to use MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, and the ability to learn the use of additional software tools. Must be able to work in a team environment.
