Assistant Supervisor/ Garland company will be relocating to Duncanville in November
•Bilingual preferred
•5am-finish $24 an hour Bilingual Wednesday - Sunday Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Production Supervisor with daily production operations and make sure production stays on schedule. Help assign employees to workstations based on production needs and staffing levels. Monitor employee attendance, tardiness, breaks, and shift coverage and report issues to the supervisor. Help train new employees on production procedures, safety requirements, sanitation, and workplace expectations . Monitor employees to ensure they are following food safety, hygiene, PPE, and sanitation procedures . Ensure employees follow proper handwashing, glove use, hairnet, uniform, and contamination-prevention procedures . Assist with monitoring product quality, portioning, labeling, packaging, and presentation . Verify that production areas are clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout the shift. Communicate production goals and instructions from management to employees. Help identify and address production delays, staffing shortages, equipment concerns, or workflow problems . Assist with completing production paperwork, employee documentation, incident reports, and shift records . Help monitor raw materials, ingredients, packaging supplies, and other production inventory and notify management when supplies are running low. Ensure finished products are handled and stored according to company and food-safety standards . Assist with opening and closing production procedures , depending on the assigned shift. Provide direction to production employees when the Production Supervisor is assisting elsewhere or unavailable. Help maintain a professional and respectful work environment and report employee concerns, conflicts, or policy violations to management. Coordinate with Quality Assurance/Quality Control, sanitation, warehouse, and other departments when needed. Assist with investigating production or employee issues and gathering employee statements or documentation when requested by management. Monitor productivity and help ensure employees are meeting daily production targets without sacrificing quality or safety . Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor or management
Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
