SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Production Supervisor position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the manufacturing complex, maximizing capital and human resource utilization, and executing against production objectives. This individual will collaborate with the Plant Manager to set the vision, strategy, and direction of the plant and execute projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, inspire, and develop the production teams to achieve production objectives and performance goals. Oversee and execute the production plan, including materials and asset utilization, in conjunction with cross-functional teams. Reinforce and enable teams in following HACCP, GMP, USDA, FDA, and other quality and food safety regulations and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive continuous operational improvements, reduce waste, and deliver customer business outcomes.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

At least five years of work experience is preferred. Must have at least two years of experience in a leadership role at a manufacturing or operations environment; Demonstrated leadership, team building, employee development, and employee relations skills. Proven track record of results in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations environment. Demonstrated understanding of supply chain systems, safety systems, and programs. Experience with battered, breaded, fried, or rolled (Egg Rolls, Burritos, Flautas) products a plus. Experience operating fryers, spiral freezers, stuffers, mixers, muti-vacs, cartoners, flow wrappers, and baggers a plus.
