Full Job Description Position Title:
Production Supervisor Shift:
12-Hr Day Shift - 6:00m-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am(2-2-3 Schedule; every other Saturday, Sunday, Monday required) Position Overview The Production Supervisor report to the Production Manager/Plant manager The job holder has the responsibility to oversee the production and all of its affiliated processes (production efficiencies, employee training, warehousing, health and safety guidelines are followed), in compliance with legal and company rules. Primary Responsibilities Monitor production floor operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety Responsible for hiring and training of new employees Scheduling and time card approvals Complete reports and appropriate documentation Have an understanding of all positions and duties related to production Carry out all operations in compliance with the expected Quality Standards and Operating procedures of Protec PV and Respecting all legal and company EHS-rules. Carry out any other duties requested by Production Manager/Plant Manager Minimum Requirements Basic educational degree or High school diploma or general education diploma Knowledge of common software programs (MS office) Ability to read and understand work orders, production process, safety regulations and quality procedures and instructions. Availability to work 12-hour shifts 2-2-3 schedule Previous experience in leading teams in a manufacturing environment Physical Environment Required to stand for long periods of time Walk and climb stairs Use hands to remove or lift boxes Stretch and reach with arms extended Stoop and bend Lift up to 50 pounds and up to 100 pounds with assistance Temperature, dust, smell and noise are under normal chemical environment conditions
