You'll balance throughput with precision, keep tanks and tooling at peak condition, and ensure every part meets stringent specifications. If metal finishing and people leadership energize you, this role puts you at the center of both. What You Will Do Oversee daily chrome plating operations with an unwavering focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. Coach, train, and mentor technicians to build a high-performing, collaborative team. Plan and sequence work using ERP/MRP tools to hit customer commitments and optimize workflow. Inspect processes, baths, and equipment routinely; verify critical dimensions with gauges, calipers, and micrometers. Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction using root-cause methods such as 5 Why. Maintain precise production records, quality control documentation, and inventory tracking. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and Scheduling to remove roadblocks and elevate customer satisfaction. Troubleshoot process issues quickly, from non-conformances to equipment concerns, and implement lasting fixes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in metal finishing is a plus. 3+ years in chrome plating or closely related metal finishing; 1+ year in a supervisory/lead role. Strong command of plating processes, equipment operation, and safety/environmental regulations. Proven team leadership and communication skills; able to coach and develop talent. Technical troubleshooting aptitude with a meticulous eye for detail and quality. Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience using production management or ERP/MRP systems preferred.
