Basic Purpose:

The Assembly Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily production activities within the assembly department to ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role provides direct leadership to assembly personnel, manages workflow, supports employee development, and drives departmental performance to achieve production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support assembly team members to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. Assign and coordinate daily work activities to meet production schedules. Monitor workflow and address issues that may impact productivity or quality. Ensure employees follow established work instructions, procedures, and company policies. Promote and maintain a safe and organized work environment. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members. Coordinate material availability and workflow to support production requirements. Communicate departmental goals, priorities, and expectations. Track production performance and report results to management. Collaborate with other departments to resolve operational issues and improve efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives and process improvements. Assist with department operations as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience required. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, leadership, or people management experience in a manufacturing environment required. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop employees. Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and meet production goals. Basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow and enforce company policies and safety procedures. Ability to work in a team environment and interface with a diverse workforce. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Ability to use basic tools and measuring instruments as required. Must be able to distinguish shades and colors.
