Job Description
Position Summary:
- Under minimal supervision, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of materials and products. Applies knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, equipment and fabrication requirements. Analyzes work orders, blueprints and sequence of operations required. Organizes and maintains production schedules
- Essential Functions of the
Job:
- + Determines staffing levels and manpower schedules based on workloads and knowledge of products and materials.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):
- + Knowledge and understanding of production welding processes.
Education and Experience:
- + High school diploma or GED certificate required. College degree or Technical School preferred. + AWS certification a plus. + Minimum 3-5 years previous supervisory experience directing the work of others.
Working Conditions:
- + Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines/production schedules.
