We currently have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor at our Manufacturing Facility in Temple , TX . Responsibilities The Production Supervisor provides hands-on leadership and direction within the assigned department to ensure production objectives are achieved while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting quality and customer requirements. This role oversees daily production operations, leads hourly team members, monitors operational performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives that drive safety, efficiency, quality, and cost performance. You Will Have the Opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Lead and supervise production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost objectives. Coordinate daily production schedules, staffing, and workflow to support efficient operations and customer requirements for up to 75 hourly employees. Foster a culture of safety by promoting safe work practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Monitor production performance metrics and implement corrective actions to improve operational results. Coach, develop, and support employees through training, performance feedback, and ongoing development. Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, and Planning to resolve production issues and improve processes. Supervise the day-to-day activities of hourly production employees, including scheduling, attendance, work assignments, and performance management. Monitor production output, labor utilization, downtime, scrap, and other key performance indicators to achieve established goals. Prepare and maintain accurate production, quality, safety, and operational reports. Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management activities, including corrective action consistent with company policies. Communicate production priorities, operational performance, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities across all levels of the organization. Identify and resolve production issues while supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards. Participate in continuous improvement activities, including Lean initiatives, waste reduction, and process optimization. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience 4+ years of manufacturing experience, including at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Demonstrated knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and process improvement techniques. Experience leading or supervising employees in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and quality systems. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or related operational excellence methodologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong leadership, coaching, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to analyze operational data and make informed business decisions. Ability to motivate and develop employees while fostering a positive and accountable work environment. Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement sustainable solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Experience using ERP or manufacturing execution systems (MES). Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of the organization; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Competencies Leadership
