Job Description

Job Summary :
Supervisor Plans, organizes and supervises day-to-day operations, ensuring that daily production schedule is followed and met.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that operators are running to the dispatch list (work with scheduling to minimize set-ups) Check and account for every part produced and materials consumed to make those parts are accountable to every operation on every work order Ensure that all documentation (QAR s, job travelers, MRB tags, etc) are filled out properly and completely at end of shift Provide interpretation and direction for department standards, customer standards and specifications, and internal standards and procedures Notify scheduling and maintenance when a machine goes down Process inspection, certification and documentation Hold employees accountable for safety, quality and production quotas Ensure employee time and attendance are recorded properly to ensure compliance with company policy Make conscience efforts to prevent injuries and dangerous situations; report and document any accidents or near misses to the safety officer Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications (Required) At least 18 years of age (required at all locations) High School diploma or GED (required at all locations) 2+ years Supervisory experience Working knowledge in welding field and holding welding certifications in the past. (MIG or TIG) Ability to read welding symbols and prints Working knowledge of US standard units of measurement, as well as metric. Job:
Frequent walking, standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting and lifting for 8-12 hours per day Able to frequently walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, stoop, push, pull, twist and lift for 8-12 hours per day Able to work in non-climate-controlled and noisy environment Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices) Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
