  • 1:30 AM Lead a Growing Structural Steel Team We are seeking an experienced Welding Foreman to oversee shop production, lead a team of welders and fitters, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a rapidly growing fabrication facility that has recently doubled in size , added brand-new welding machines and metal fabrication equipment, and continues to expand its workforce and capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to lead fabrication efforts on large-scale structural steel projects used in high-rise buildings, launch pads, aerospace infrastructure, and heavy support structures . Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of welders, fitters, and shop personnel Ensure production goals, quality standards, and deadlines are met Provide hands-on support with welding, fit-up, and fabrication when needed Read and interpret weld prints, fabrication drawings, and project specifications Assign work, monitor productivity, and maintain workflow throughout the shift Train and mentor employees on welding techniques, safety practices, and quality expectations Conduct inspections to verify weld quality and adherence to specifications Promote and enforce a safe work environment Communicate effectively with management regarding production schedules, manpower needs, and project status Qualifications 5+ years of structural steel welding experience Previous leadership experience as a Lead Welder, Welding Supervisor, Foreman, or similar role Strong Flux-Core welding experience using 1/16" wire on carbon steel Ability to read and interpret weld symbols, blueprints, and fabrication drawings Experience with fit-up and fabrication processes Strong understanding of shop safety and quality standards Ability to lead by example and motivate a team in a fast-paced production environment Why Join Us? ✅ Competitive pay: $35
