The supervisor provides frontline leadership, drives accountability, develops team capability, and ensures operational objectives are achieved while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment. Requirements Include the following (other duties may be assigned): Lead daily production activities and shift execution. Provide visible floor leadership throughout the shift. Develop, coach, and mentor employees. Drive accountability to safety, quality, and production standards. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and labor utilization. Lead problem solving and corrective actions to closure. Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting. Coordinate cross-functional activities with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Training. Support continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure effective shift handoff communication Core Job Prerequisites High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in steel manufacturing or tube forming preferred. Excellent communication and leadership skills, including conflict resolution. Success Profile A successful Production Supervisor leads with accountability, develops people, drives operational excellence, and fosters a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. They effectively communicate, solve problems, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and consistently deliver results while strengthening the long-term capability of the organization. Successful supervisors maintain a strong presence on the production floor and take a hands-on approach to learning the operation, equipment, and manufacturing processes. By working alongside employees, observing challenges firsthand, participating in troubleshooting efforts, and gaining a deep understanding of how the operation functions, they develop the technical knowledge necessary to make informed decisions and effectively guide their teams. This visible engagement helps build credibility, trust, and buy-in from employees while accelerating the supervisor's own understanding of the processes and machinery they are responsible for leading.
