Job Description

Schedule:
1st shift hours are from 6:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m., Monday
- Friday 2nd shift hours are from 2:00 p.m.
- 12:00 a.m. (midnight), Monday
- Thursday 3rd shift hours are from 6:00 p.m.
- 6:00 a.m., Sunday, 12:00 a.m
- 6:00 a.m., Monday
- Thursday Overtime after 36 hours!

Education that is generally acquired through two (2) years of college with completion of an associate's degree is preferred, however, relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree. A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to function successfully and make effective decisions in a fast-paced, changing work environment. Ability to manage multiple competing demands, build proficiency in multiple systems and equipment sets, and exercise good judgment with incomplete information. Ability to resolve problems, handle conflict, provide accurate performance evaluations, and demonstrate Belmark principles to employees. Ability to continuously improve metrics for a given shift and develop well-functioning teams. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written communications. Manage employee developmental/training programs, prepare SOP's, and define best practices to standardize departments. Demonstrated computer proficiency, Microsoft suite. Ability to work on a 12-hour rotation. Some overtime will be required. Ability to effectively utilize (writing, speaking, reading) the English language. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions. Ability to give, receive and analyze information. Regular attendance is critical and expected in this role.Ability to:
stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.Ability to:
see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.Ability to:
use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; and use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.Ability to lift:
10 pounds or less 30% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; and may lift 100 pounds or less 10% of work time. (Example:
lifting roll of material on and off the press approximately 6 ft.) May lift 100 pounds or more.- Eligibility for internal transfers is based on completion of required, overall performance, attendance record, qualifications, and tenure in your current position.
