As a Production Supervisor at Agropur, you'll lead a team in a fast-paced dairy manufacturing plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of cheese, milk, and other dairy ingredients. You will coordinate daily schedules, staffing, and line changeovers while enforcing GMPs, food safety, and workplace safety standards. Partnering closely with quality, maintenance, and logistics, you'll troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and drive continuous improvement to meet cost, yield, and service goals in a values-driven, sustainable cooperative. Responsibilities Supervise day-to-day production operations in a dairy manufacturing environment to meet safety, quality, yield, and efficiency targets. Coordinate staffing, work assignments, and line changeovers to meet production schedules and customer demand. Monitor equipment performance and product quality; escalate and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime and waste. Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety policies, and food safety/FSQA standards, including sanitation and allergen controls. Track and report production metrics, variances, and downtime; implement corrective and preventive actions. Coach, train, and develop production operators; conduct performance feedback and support a culture of accountability and teamwork. Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and planning to ensure smooth plant operations and on-time shipments. Support and lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives focused on throughput, labor utilization, and cost reduction. Ensure accurate completion of production documentation, logs, and electronic records for regulatory and internal compliance. Participate in audits and inspections, and contribute to implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
