$75k-95k Salary Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an experienced CNC Operations Manager on behalf of an advanced manufacturing company! This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily machining operations, driving production performance, mentoring supervisors and production teams, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery across the shop floor. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for an experienced manufacturing professional with a strong CNC machining background and proven management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Production Management Oversee daily machining operations to ensure production goals, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met Schedule workflow through machining centers and coordinate production priorities Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts Manage productivity, quality, safety, and process improvement projects Maintain a safe and organized 5S work environment Collaborate with supervisors and leadership on production schedules and project timelines Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and support supervisors and production employees Conduct employee reviews and performance evaluations Assist with hiring and workforce planning alongside HR Identify skill gaps and implement employee training plans Support disciplinary processes and maintain accountability across teams Technical Requirements Candidates MUST have: Minimum 5 years of CNC Machining and CNC Programming experience Minimum 5-10 years of manufacturing or production management experience Advanced programming experience (Mastercam or CAD preferred) 3-5 axis machining experience in a hands-on shop floor environment Experience with high-tolerance machining and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files Experience using ERP systems (MIE Trak preferred) Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing software Preferred Qualifications Degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred OR equivalent industry experience (10-15 years) Prototyping experience preferred Experience leading teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Physical & Work Environment:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs. Exposure to machine noise, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles Fast-paced manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment PPE required based on work area and tasks performed
