Lead Fabricator / Installer Sky Forge Metalworks, LLC - Sky Forge Metalworks Albright, WV / Pittsburgh Region Sky Forge Metalworks is seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Fabricator / Installer to join our growing team specializing in custom architectural metalwork. Our work includes high-end interior and exterior railings, gates, doors, and custom fabricated metal features for luxury residential and commercial projects. This position is for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, leadership, professionalism, and attention to detail. Responsibilities Lead fabrication and installation of custom metal projects Read and interpret shop drawings and field measurements Layout, fit, weld, grind, and finish custom railing and metalwork projects Lead and direct install crews on job sites Maintain professional communication with homeowners, contractors, and designers Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards Problem solve in the field and adapt to site conditions Maintain organization and cleanliness in the shop and on job sites Help train and mentor team members Assist with loading/unloading materials and transporting tools/equipment Qualifications Strong MIG welding experience required TIG welding experience is a plus Experience with custom metal fabrication and architectural railing systems Ability to read shop drawings and tape measurements accurately Experience leading projects and crews preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to lift heavy materials and work in shop and field environments Professional appearance and attitude when working in occupied homes Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred Experience Architectural railings Stainless steel fabrication Field installation Powder coated and finished product handling Hand-forged or decorative metalwork experience Equipment operation (forklift, lifts, etc.) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience High-end custom projects Team-oriented environment Four-day work week schedule (Monday-Thursday) Opportunity to grow with a premium custom fabrication company Pay Range Compensation based on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and overall fit.
