Robotics Production Operator

We're seeking a skilled Robotics Operator/Technician to join our night shift team and take a lead role in supporting, maintaining, and improving our automated robotic systems. This role is centered around working with Fanuc robots used in CNC part tending applications. The technician will play a key part in keeping our automation systems running smoothly and troubleshooting issues.

Night Shift Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 4:00pm-2:30am.

Key Responsibilities :

• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain Fanuc robotic systems used for loading/unloading CNC machines.
• Perform basic robot programming and teach pendant operations (Fanuc TP).
• Assist with setting up robotic work cells for part changeovers, including adjustments to tooling, fixturing, and robot programs.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with robot-to-CNC communication and PLC-controlled systems.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on robots, grippers, and sensors.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to resolve mechanical/electrical issues and to improve automation reliability and efficiency.
• Document programs, processes, and maintenance logs in a clear, organized manner.

Qualifications :

• Technical certification or associate degree in Robotics or Mechatronics.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Fanuc robots. (TP and iRVision preferred).
• Strong understanding of CNC machine tool operation and part tending automation.
• Experience with robotic end-of-arm tooling and sensor integration.
• Familiarity with safety standards related to robotic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
