Description Job Details At Manufacturing Corporation of America, the Manufacturing Production Team Member is responsible for supporting the various production processes required to manufacture our final products. This role will fully support providing high quality products in the required customer timeframe. This will be a result of following all Standardized Work processes. Primary Purpose The ideal candidate will utilize their physical abilities to assemble various products and support continuous improvement activities through collaboration with fellow Team Members. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Ensure all Safety procedures are followed, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Take necessary steps to accurately follow assembly processes Install small parts into assembled products Utilize assisting equipment when required to move larger parts Following training and certification, utilize required assembly tools, such as drills, to both assemble and troubleshoot assembly issues Identify potential errors in a process to ensure a high level of product quality, asking questions if and when there is any doubt on a process or procedure Take steps to ensure a neat production area Utilize mobility tools as required to ensure a safe working environment. Assist in training new employees as required Perform various other duties as directed by the Production Lead &/or Supervisor. Work consists of a significant amount of manual work to ensure production quality and reduce manufacturing errors. The Manufacturing Production Associate will work towards quality, delivery, and safety goals established by the company and within the department, and his or her compensation will be tied to the achievement of those goals. Depending on the process being worked within the Plastics department, significant periods of standing (typically more than half of a workday), the ability to lift more than 20 pounds, as well as a high attention to detail could be required. The environment within this plant is a warm environment, so experience working in this type of work area is preferred. Job Specifications Knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job: High School degree or equivalent work experience required Ability to lift 20 or more pounds and conduct daily physical activity is required on certain processes Ability to stand for 10 or more hours per day, not including breaks Ability to follow operating procedures Ability to identify areas of process improvement, and communicate those observations with manager Ability to effectively communicate with team members Hours of Work Our Conway locations work from 5:00am- 3:30pm Monday through Thursday. Occasional overtime on Fridays is necessary.
Compensation Salary:
Manufacturing Production Associate full-time position compensation typically starts at $16/hr. Team members become eligible for 100% company-paid employee health insurance (not including dependents) on the 1st day of the month following 30 days of employment. Salary $16 - $16.5 per hour
