Production Primary Purpose:
Package production personnel are responsible for the operating of production line equipment used in the preparing and assembling of items for distribution.
Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
High School Diploma/GED Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to stand for long periods of time, lifting and carrying of objects up to 60lbs Operate production equipment and machinery Ability to withstand hot temperatures in a production setting Work efficiently without supervision Attention to detail in identifying defects Operate hand and power tools Basic knowledge of computer operating skills
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate fork-lifts and assembly line machinery to assist in the production process Assemble materials and equipment as required to complete goods Inspect products throughout process to ensure quality standards are met Safe handling and transport of hazardous materials within the facility Communicate effectively with co-workers to work efficiently and meet deadlines Conduct final inspections of products to ensure quality standards are met Perform pre-task safety analysis and preventative maintenance to equipment 1 of 2
Production Packaging Safety:
Operate equipment and use tools following safety procedures Operate equipment and use tools following established safety procedures Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing, etc. Correct unsafe conditions in the area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the supervisor immediately Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and wear proper personal protective equipment Maintain tools and equipment and perform preventive maintenance as required

Maintain quality housekeeping and organizational standards throughout work area Maintain confidentiality of information. Other duties as assigned
