ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Production Assistant at FreeForm, you support the Production Lead across packaging, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving. You will weigh, fill, seal, and label roasted coffee, pick and pack orders, prep outbound shipments, and help receive inbound deliveries, all working from clear written procedures at every station. This is a part-time role of 1 to 3 shifts per week depending on production volume, and for the right person it can bridge the cafe and roastery sides of the company. Every task is documented, so you learn a professional production operation step by step rather than by guesswork. This is an entry-level role suited for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a physical environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist with packaging runs: weighing, filling, sealing, and labeling whole bean and ground coffee Pick, pack, and verify customer orders before they hand off to shipping and delivery Prep outbound shipments: packaging, label application, and manifest entry Help receive inbound deliveries: unloading, inventory counts, and stocking Assist the roasting team with green coffee receiving when called upon Keep production work areas clean and organized, following the daily station checklists Flag quality issues, discrepancies, and equipment problems to the Production Lead right away

GROWTH & DEVELOPMENT
The Production Assistant role is a starting point, not a ceiling. Team members who demonstrate strong performance and operational knowledge have clear opportunities to advance toward Production Lead, cross-train into other Roastery Division roles, or expand into a full time role with additional benefits as production grows.
